Leader Fox SANDY 28" trekking electric bike is intended for everyone who is looking for a great universal machine for riding on the road and in moderately demanding terrain.
The Bafang rear electric motor stands out for its very smooth and quiet operation. It offers a nominal power of 250 W, a maximum power of 350 W and a fully sufficient torque for city driving of 45 Nm.
Controlling the entire system is intuitive and easy thanks to the LCD display and the button controller located on the handlebars. With 5 assistance modes you will feel safe and comfortable on your journeys. If you have to guide the bike up a steep hill, use the WALK function to make your job easier.
On the LCD display you can monitor your current, maximum and average speed, mileage and battery charge status. In addition, you can choose between day and night display backlight mode.
With a fully charged battery, you can travel an average of 80 km on the SANDY trekking electric bike. Maximum range up to 120 km.
The range of each e-bike is affected by: - driving style – its fluidity, pedaling intensity - level of selected assistance when pedaling - the weight of the cyclist - the nature of the terrain - frequency of departures - weather conditions - headwind reduces range - air temperature – driving in cold and hot weather reduces battery capacity - technical condition of the e-bike – type of tires depending on the terrain, inflation of tires, condition of bearings and brake adjustment
A fast charger with a charging current of 3A and a battery are included in the package.
In case of incorrect shifting (use of "heavy" gears during exits), the control unit may overheat in extreme conditions. Leader Fox e-bikes are not intended for towing trailers. This reduces the range of the e-bike. The SANDY 28" 2024 model meets the EU 15194/2017 standard.
